The Three Birds Style Home
This home will be right beside our current home. With views of the Hakarimata Ranges and large trees which will stay (but don't worry, the shed won't be staying long), this home will feel like its own sanctuary. With a sloping section and the home at the highest level with the deck extending out towards the views, you'll feel almost one with the treetops, add to this the existing cherry tree will be home to the beautiful Tui's who visit in about September.
The home will be a newly relocated 1970s house with a full renovation completed: double glazed windows, new electrical and plumbing, new kitchen, new bathrooms, paint throughout the interior and exterior, new exterior cladding and an awesome entertainer's deck. It will be like new.
We follow Three Birds Renovations on Facebook and will be using their style as inspiration for this home, with different textured whites and lights and wooden accents.
We hope to have this home ready for the market in mid 2026
We are working with Lakeside Architecture, Kevin Sharp Planning and Greg Running Removalists to make this project happen. We've worked with these guys before and been impressed with their work. The following pictures are the start of the process for getting consent to move this home and one picture of the start of Tess's design process.
