This was our first spec house. The main aim was to offer a home to the market with an extra bedroom than most, so this home had five bedrooms. We figured that there are families out there with four or more children who might love to have their own rooms. We must have been onto something as it sold very quickly.

The best thing about this home was the large kitchen and scullery. The mother in this family was a caterer, go figure. I am still jealous of the kitchen. Though one thing I learnt was clarity on what I want. I wanted the window lower than this. We also learnt something about shared driveways.
