House Dressing

Ask any real estate agent and they will tell you that a house sells better if it is dressed... and we completely agree. Since our very first house sale we have invested in furniture and house dressings that appeal to the general public and give each space of a home a sense of size and purpose for photography and open homes.

The first place your buyer will see this home is in a photograph on the internet. If a room is empty, it is particularly hard to see how it could be used and to find it appealing. So, we dress the houses we sell and then we get professional photos taken. You have to be in it to win it (or sell it)

Over the 10 years we've been doing this we've accumulated a decent amount of furnishings to make a home look inviting, homely and timeless. In 2025 we are offering the opportunity for other vendors to share in both this stock and the expertise of Tess who LOVES and excels at dressing homes. Not only does Tess have a great eye, but also an Interior Design Diploma to inform her clever use of space and colour to help draw in the buyers by making a house a home.
